In 2018 we were commissioned by a customer in Singapore to reproduce a famous frame which is in the collection of the Louvre museum in Paris (by John Martin, 1841). We carved this frame from photos of the original, in approximately half size. The frame has fantastic beasts carved in the corners and entwined snakes in the center top & bottom. The customer also had a reproduction made of the painting (not by us) — see the final product hanging in his home in Singapore. We think we did a pretty good reproduction of this famous frame.
