Maple Trestle Table Wedge

This  43 x 88 x 30″ high trestle table is patterned after an early American design. The top is quite heavy, made from three thick maple boards sawed out of one log. The table is constructed with dovetails holding the top onto the base, and includes no metal hardware of any kind. The top is hand-planed and is finished with multiple coats of polyurethane varnish. See the close-up photos of the grain in the table top. The table was completely hand made by Liberty Carvings owner William Smith in 2017.  It can be easily disassembled to 2-dimensional shapes for moving or storage.
