Liberty Carvings is proud to offer an accessible custom furniture design service for our clients. All of our furniture is heirloom quality, constructed from solid kiln-dried wood and crafted using age-old hand carpentry and carving skills. Our custom furniture process begins with understanding your vision. We provide scale drawings for you to visualize the actual proportions of the finished piece, then provide a comprehensive quote.
With your final approval and deposit, our bespoke furniture process moves into production. We will fabricate your custom furniture piece and coordinate delivery to you, ensuring you are updated on all custom furniture lead times. #### Custom Reproductions
When creating custom reproductions for our clients, we prefer to reproduce the design directly from an original piece. However, we do understand that some pieces may be too worn or damaged to get a clear understanding of their details, so we will also work from photographs and drawings. We utilize traditional construction methods for our furniture (i.e. solid wood panels, solid drawer bottoms, full dovetail drawers, etc.) but if specified, we can use veneered plywood for panels. Our standard solid woods are Spanish Cedar and Honduran Mahogany, but we will provide your custom reproduction in any wood of your choosing.
#### Custom Furniture Parts
Liberty Carvings is a supplier of high-quality custom carved furniture parts. We have supplied turned and carved finials, bedposts, headboards, furniture legs, and much more. We can provide a replacement for your existing furniture, or an ongoing supply of carved or shaped parts for your own production.
Custom Pet Beds
We apply the same craftsmanship to custom pet beds. Shown here: a custom faux bamboo dog bed built on the #029 frame, scaled to 24 x 36 inches — hand-turned posts, bamboo ring rails, and solid paneled construction identical to our full-size beds.
