The Story Behind This Bed
This design came to us the way the best commissions do — with a single screenshot. A client spotted a faux bamboo tallpost bed in a scene from the HBO series Succession and reached out asking if we could recreate it. We could, and we did.
The Succession prop bed appeared in one of the show’s signature interior settings — understated old-money luxury, the kind that doesn’t announce itself. Our client saw exactly what we see in faux bamboo furniture: it carries an unmistakable pedigree without shouting about it. We worked from the screenshot, scaled it to their room dimensions, and built it in Spanish cedar with a hand-rubbed antique honey finish.
All listed prices reflect Spanish Cedar, include a custom scale drawing where applicable, and exclude shipping. For Honduran Mahogany, add 70%. Every piece is made to order — custom sizing available.
